Kendra L. Bruce
Possessing expertise in a myriad of fields, Kendra L. Bruce joined the Center for English Language (CEL) at the Ministry of Education in Riyadh as a consultant. Prior to coming to Saudi Arabia, she was the U.S. development and diplomatic head of the NATO forces in Badakhshan province and General Development Officer for USAID managing multi-million dollar projects within the northern region of Afghanistan, including infrastructure and energy, economic development, governance, agriculture, education, and health. She was also a U.S. Peace Corps Business Development volunteer in Elbasan, Albania. During her time in the Peace Corps, she co-published a “How to Start a Small Business in a Developing Country” course with international distribution and handled grant development in the municipality of Elbasan. In addition, she lectured at the University of Elbasan in American Civilization and Public Speaking and has taught in South Korea and the U.A.E. Before entering the development and education sectors, Kendra worked in finance for over eight years in both mutual funds and hedge funds. She earned her Master’s in non-profit management with a specialization in entrepreneurial business from Northeastern University and her Bachelor’s in social sciences from Harvard University.
